OAG Notes

Press Release:

Offshore Aviation has developed and tested the OA-2VT and OA-2H cargo delivery UAS to operate autonomously with the OAG shipboard landing system. The testing, which took place in July 2022, demonstrated the ability of OAG aircraft to take off, execute a programmed route, find a ship at sea up to 500 NM away, and land on the deck of the ship without human intervention.

This is an important capability for offshore projects, including wind farm construction and drilling, which may require resupply in remote locations up to 550 NM from the nearest logistics hub.
